November 9 & 10 Adam Booth and Katie Ross will host a storytelling workshop and free “concert” at the Hampshire County Public Library in Romney, WV. The free storytelling concert will be held on November 9 from 7-9PM. Then on November 10, Adam and Katie, both members of the WV Storytelling Guild, will be offering a day long workshop from 9AM-5PM on storytelling, also at the library. |

Collections for New York |

New Venture Christian Church will be accepting donations at the LaVale Walmart from 3-7pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, November 7-9 for the relief effort in New York for the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
Items needed for the relief project are cleaning supplies, bleach, dust masks, mops, buckets, dust pans, flashlights and batteries, generators, shovels, big heavy duty garbage bags, push brooms, crow bars, socks, underwear, work boots and gloves.
Cash donations are also being accepted if someone is unable to supply a particular item. A team from the church will be purchasing necessary items to complete the trailer load.
The first trailer of items was delivered to Staten Island, NY on Sunday, November 4th. |
