  All Day FSU Event   December 6, 7:30PM The FSU Dept. of Music hosts a performance by the FSU Jazz Ensemble in the Pealer Recital Hall of the Performing Arts Center. Free & open to the public. For more information, contact the Department of Music at 301-687-4109.
  All Day Christmas In The Village   Spruce Forest Artisan Village will be lit with hundreds of candle luminaries during the 29th Annual Christmas in the Village, Friday Dec 6, 4-8pm and Saturday Dec 7, noon-8pm. Holiday music programs will take place in the Village Church and artist galleries and shops will be open, refreshments will be served. Children may participate in hands-on activities such as making a pine cone bird feeder, trying out the pottery wheel, and joining a scavenger hunt. Donations are welcome and support educational programs. Admission is free.
  5:00PM 8:00PM Santa Visits   Friday Nights Visits with Santa – Visit with Santa & Mrs. Claus every Friday night in December at The Book Center, 15 N. Centre Street from 5-8 pm. Many Downtown Cumberland businesses are open late. Frosty and Rudolph will be on hand, too, spreading holiday cheer. Bring your camera! Fridays – December 6, 13 and 20. FREE Trolley Rides.
  5:00PM 8:00PM Holiday Open House   December 6, 5-8PM A Holiday Open House will be held at the Frostburg Museum, located on Hill and Oak Street. Enjoy the holiday atmosphere along with a premiere exhibition of glassware, entertainment, several local artists will offer their handcrafted work for sale and the Frostburg Rotary will have a display of Christmas ornaments from years past for purchase.

  5:30PM 8:00PM Frostburg Tree Lighting   December 6, 5:30-8PM Frostburg City Tree Lighting Celebration will be held at St. Michael School Courtyard Main Street. Come warm yourself with a cup of hot chocolate and have some delicious cookies. You can gather around an open fire pit and talk with old friends. There will be caroling at the City Tree Lighting.
