Happy pinning, Carrie Underwood! The mommy-to-be just launched an official Pinterest page with six boards dedicated to all her favorite things, including healthy living, feeling pretty and fitness.  Pinterest should come in handy when baby boy Fisher makes his world debut. The site offers a ton of pinspiration on kids, parenting and decorating for the nursery.  “I’m so much better when someone says, ‘Here’s 10 things and pick a favorite.’ You know what I mean? Rather than there’s a whole world of rugs and drapes and furniture and stuff out there and I don’t even know where to start. So, there’s someone else that’s helping with that.”

Carrie’s new lifestyle and fitness apparel line Calia hits Dick’s Sporting Goods on Thursday.

When Kacey Musgraves made her Country Radio Seminar debut in 2012, her knockout performance of “Merry Go ‘Round” received the only standing ovation at her label’s annual showcase. Since then, Kacey has won two Grammy Awards, two CMA Awards and an ACM Award for Album of the Year.
Thursday’s premiere performance of her new single “Biscuits” at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium was a show-stopper and she rocked an outfit to match.

Going barefoot with big Texas hair, Kacey made a statement in a black and white, ruffled gingham dress that was a cross between a prom dress and your grandmother’s favorite kitchen apron.

This is why we love Garth Brooks. The man loves his people so much, he’ll splurge on the cost to rent out an entire mall to treat his band and crew to a night at the movies.  Garth Brooks talks about renting out a mall for an American Sniper viewing.  “We went to a movie the other night in Pittsburgh. The whole band and crew went to see American Sniper. Fabulous movie, but we do everything together. They were cool enough to stay open after the show and they were very sweet.”  Garth threw a secret show at Nashville’s Marathon Music Works last night. The rare gig was his first club show since 1993.  Garth's tour with Trisha Yearwood is heading to Portland, Oregon. Their two-night stand starts April 12th at the Moda Center. Tickets go on sale March 6th.

If you tried to call Jake Owen right now, chances are you’ll get this message, “The voice mailbox is full and no longer accept any messages at this time.” The “What We Ain’t Got” singer admits he has terrible phone etiquette.  In a new “25 Things” list with Us Weekly, Jake reveals, “I hate emails and texts and I’m horrible about calling people back.”  Outside of friends and family, one call Jake will always take Kenny Chesney’s. The Lucky Old Son has been one of Jake’s biggest supporters since he broke with “Yee Haw.”  “If I could be like anyone and model my career after a guy that not only is so passionate about the music he makes, but he’s passionate about the people he works with. He’s appreciative of the people that work for him, you can see that when you’re around him and his crew. People will lay down for that guy.”  Jake, Chase Rice and Cole Swindell will join Kenny’s The Big Revival tour for select dates this summer. The trek kicks off with a two-night stand in Nashville on March 26th.

Chris Young’s Fan Club Party will be June 10 at the Grand Ole Opry House. Tickets are open to current and new fan club members only and include a live performance by Chris followed by a meet & greet. Tickets are $50 and they go on sale Monday at ChrisYoungCountry.com.

House of Cards spoiler alert -- when season three premieres on Netflix on February 27th, Frank Underwood takes the oval office as the 46th president of the United States. Shocker, right?  If Kevin Spacey is looking for plot twist suggestions, here is ours: write a part for Darius Rucker! He’s played for five living presidents.  Darius Rucker says playing for five living presidents is his proudest moment.  “To be honest with you, the thing I’m most proud of in my career is that I’ve gotten to sing for all five living presidents. Two Bushes, Clinton, I got to sing for President Obama and Ford.”  We doubt Darius would have time for a Netflix role at the moment. His new album Southern Style lands March 31st and the tour of the same name kicks off May 14th in Holmdel, New Jersey.

Lady A’s Hillary Scott has some touring tips for Carrie Underwood and her new baby. Hilary says don’t worry about noise, they’ll sleep through it and don’t be afraid when the dogs bark, they’ll sleep thru that too. They also talked about the layout of the bus; making sure the walls are padded and Hilary says what is really key is finding a great nanny that can handle being on the road.

Miranda Lambert says the most romantic Valentine she ever got Blake were game cameras that take pictures of deer then it’s e-mailed it to your iPad.

Tim McGraw tweeted a photo yesterday of a dentist tray with instruments and a sarcastic caption reading, “fun day planned.”  One thing on the tray was a plaster form of upper teeth so we contacted a dentist and she said he was having ceramic crowns put on his two front teeth but she wasn’t sure if he broke his original teeth or if old crowns had to be replaced.

Valentine’s Day is all about the wives for Eli Young Band! Their latest single, “Prayer for the Road,” is inspired by the sweet messages their wives slip into their luggage before the guys leave for tour.  Mike Eli talks about the inspiration behind “Prayer for the Road.”  “James [Young] and I were talking at a writing retreat. We had this idea, James and I were talking about how our wives leave these notes in our bags, you know, these really nice notes about missing us and to be careful out there kind of thing. That’s kind of where this song started.”  EYB just released a fun bonus video for “Prayer for the Road.” It’s available online now!

Jason Aldean’s current Burn It Down tour is the biggest thing he’s ever done production-wise and he says, “there’s a lot of fire, flames and heat, so visually it’s pretty darn cool.”

Miranda Lambert's labor of love, her album Platinum, won the award for Best Country Album at Sunday's Grammys.  Backstage at the Grammy Awards, Miranda Lambert talks about winning Best Country Album for Platinum .  “I felt like this album, Platinum was the one that was going to set up the next decade of my career—sort of launch me into the next phase. So I spent extra time and extra effort and took so much care in picking the right songs and writing the right songs. I really wanted it to celebrate where I’ve been and where I’m going and I feel like it does that.”  Carrie Underwood won her seventh career Grammy Award for Best Country Solo Performance for "Something in the Water." A very pregnant Carrie watched from home as her name was called during the pre-telecast. She tweeted, "I'm seriously so happy that 'Something in the Water' won a Grammy! This song means so much to me...I feel so honored and blessed!"  The Band Perry picked up their first ever Grammy in the Best Country Duo/Group Performance for "Gentle On My Mind" from the soundtrack of the Glen Campbell documentary I'll Be Me.

And, Glen Campbell, who wrote "I'm Not Gonna Miss You" along with Julian Raymond, won Best Country Song.

Chris Young’s job just got crazy pretty! The “Lonely Eyes” singer is looking forward to a super fun workweek when Sports Illustrated celebrates the 2015 Swimsuit Issue at Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center. Chris will sing at next week’s event, which will include performances by Will Hoge, Nikki Lane, Rayland Baxter and headliner Kings of Leon.  Chris says, “I'm a sports fan. I'm a Sports Illustrated fan. I'm a Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue fan, too. Let's just say it is going to be a blast playing Nashville next week.”  Chris Young says he loves all aspects of being a country star.  “I love my job. I love all aspects of it. So it really doesn’t feel like work to go, ‘Ok I don’t want to think about this stuff. I’m going to write a song.’ That aspect of being a songwriter really kind of helps me relieve stress. You start with a blank piece of paper and you get to create whatever you want.”  Chris Young’s set will be staged in the temporary Swimville entertainment village on Nashville’s Lower Broadway on Wednesday.

Remember in 1997’s As Good As It Gets when Jack Nicholson is asked, “How do you write women so well?” Kenny Chesney has an answer! And it’s not even close to Jack’s reply, “I think of a man and I take away reason and accountability.” Instead, Kenny starts with a woman’s heart.  Kenny Chesney explains there’s more than one way to write about a woman.  “I believe there’s a lot of ways to write about women. But to me, I think their spirit — their heart and their spirit is the place to start. You know, a lot of things that have been written about women in the last three years (laughs) are just about certain things. And look, I love tailgates and cutoff jeans and bikini tops as much as any guy in the world. But I feel like that’s been talked about a lot. It’s kinda, in a way, kinda painted women in a corner.”

Kenny Chesney talks about his new single “Wild Child.”  “But this song talks about their spirit. This song talks about their heart, and how they live their life, you know, just out of the box.”  Kenny’s “American Kids” is up for Best Country Song at the 57th annual Grammy Awards. The show airs Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.

Miranda Lambert leads the pack for the ACM Awards with eight nominations, including Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year for Platinum, Single of the Year and Song of the Year for "Automatic" as both the artist and writer. She also scored nods for Video and Vocal Event of the Year for "Somethin' Bad," her duet with Carrie Underwood.   Dierks Bentley follows Miranda with seven nominations, including Male Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year for Riser, and Single of the Year and Video of the Year for “Drunk on a Plane.” He's also up for Song of the Year for "I Hold On" as artist and writer, and Vocal Event of the Year with The Cadillac Three, Florida Georgia Line and Mike Eli for "The South."   Florida Georgia Line grabbed five nods -- including their first in the Entertainer of the Year, as well as Vocal Duo of the Year, Single of the Year for “Dirt,” and two in the Vocal Event of the Year category, for “The South” with The Cadillac Three, Dierks Bentley and Mike Eli, and for “This Is How We Roll” with Luke Bryan.  Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney and Eric Church scored four nominations each.   The ACM Awards will air live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas April 19th on CBS.

Blake Shelton’s joined the cast of Adam Sandler’s western spoof, ‘Ridiculous 6,’ with Nick Nolte, Luke Wilson, Dan Aykroyd, Jon Lovitz, Vanilla Ice and more. Blake’s been cast as Wyatt Earp and filming starts next month and will be exclusive to Netflix.

Who knew Eric Church was a closet Fiona Apple fan? The “Talladega” singer says Fiona was in heavy rotation while he was recording his Grammy-nominated album The Outsiders -- and her rock piano directly inspired a musical moment on the track “Broke Record.”  Eric Church says he wanted Fiona Apple piano on “Broke Record.”  “It’s one of the few times we used piano, the low end of the piano. I was actually listening to some Fiona Apple doing this album. She did this really cool thing at the low end of the piano where you really can’t discern what the notes are. You just hear this rhythmic rumble. And we did some of that on ‘Broke Record.’”  Eric scored his fourth number-one this week with “Talladega,” following “Drink in My Hand,” “Springsteen” and “Give Me Back My Hometown.” He also shares a number-one with Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan on "The Only Way I Know.  On the Mediabase chart, Carrie Underwood’s Grammy-nominated hit “Something in the Water” follows at number-two, while Luke Bryan’s “I See You” holds at number-three. Florida Georgia Line’s “Sun Daze” and Kenny Chesney’s “Til It’s Gone” round out the Top 5.

Justin Moore owes a lot to his parents. Without their love and support, me might have never pursued music as a career.  Justin Moore says his parents were his first fans.  “I started playin’ music my junior or senior year a high school. My dad is the one who actually said, ‘So, what do you think about doin’ that for a livin’?’ And so, my parents were very supportive as opposed to the opposite where some parents when you go home from college and go, I’m not goin’ back to college, I’m gonna go try to be a Country Music star, where they would go, what the hell’s wrong with you? They were very supportive of me and obviously still are.”  Justin’s next show is February 6th in West Wendover, Nevada. He continues Miranda Lambert’s Certified Platinum tour in Spokane, Washington on February 12th.

Jason Aldean and Brittany Kerr’s engagement party was so exclusive, you had to get fingerprinted to even get through the door! The super VIP event was held at Nashville’s members-only club Citizen, which is billed as a private hideaway where the Music City elite go to unwind.  Us Weekly got inside where Luke Bryan toasted the happy couple with friends and family, including Jason’s mom and step-mom. Brittany’s mom and grandmother were also at Citizen, which was decked out with a commemorative photo booth and a six-tiered, white-frosted cake as the centerpiece.  Jason Aldean says his wedding to Brittany Kerr will be big

"It's all good. We're excited, we're really happy. And it's obviously going to be her first wedding so she wants the whole...shebang."

With no concerts on the books until the end of March, Jake Owen is breaking the Internet with cuteness! On Tuesday, he tweeted the most adorable picture of his baby girl Pearl on her first pony ride. He wrote, “Pearl’s first Pony -- my little girl likes country music and horses.”  "Every day when I look at her, and people tell me how smart she is, and how well-behaved she is, it makes me feel good. I makes me feel like I guess I do know what I’m doing.”  Jake’s concert schedule for 2015 kicks off with Kenny Chesney’s two-night opener for the Big Revival tour, which starts March 26th and 27th in Nashville.

The Band Perry‘s Kimberly still gets nervous on stage in front of her peers and when they sang at last year’s CMA’s, to calm her nerves Kimberly picked out an artist in the front row to interact with and it was Faith Hill. She said, “we never talked about it later but I’m pretty sure Faith knew what I was doing.”

I just found out over his holiday break Jake Owen caused quite a stir by making an unannounced appearance onstage at the Riverside Café in his hometown of Vero Beach, FL. After he played, he had a 2-hour dinner of blackened mahi mahi, french fries and coleslaw. His tab was $240 and he left a $140 tip! His server said Jake was “really normal and really nice.”

Miranda Lambert announced a free concert the other night on Facebook about 6 hours before it happened. It was at Nashville’s Exit/In, only a few hundred could fit and it was the kick off to her Certified Platinum Tour. She had new artist RaeLynn there as well; she was coached by Blake on The Voice and says she’s sorta been adopted by the Shelton’s.

Speaking of Miranda, as for her dramatic 45-pound weight loss last year, she says exercise and never skipping breakfast were key. She also juices daily and run-walks on her 700-acre ranch.

Miranda Lambert loves all her songs as if they were her own kids! It’s hard picking favorites, but ‘Ran has hers narrowed to two. She tells Gibson.com, “’Dead Flowers’ is a definite favorite. ‘Love Is Looking for You’ is another one. Neither was a huge hit, but from a songwriting perspective, I’m proud of both of those. ‘Love Looking for You’ was one of the early ones. It took me a while to understand what I was saying with that song... A song you wrote when you were young can surprise you when you’re older.”  Miranda Lambert says Blake Shelton and her mom Beverly keep her grounded.  “When we go home, we’re just normal, and we appreciate everyday things as well as getting to be on a red carpet together and have success together. My mom would kill me if I got diva on her.  The Certified Platinum tour kicks off Thursday in Evansville, Indiana with Justin Moore and RaeLynn.

Lady A‘s Charles Kelley had a slight wardrobe malfunction on the People’s Choice Awards red carpet. His skinny pants split cause they were too tight and it happened too late to change them.

Long and curly or short and sharp, Dierks Bentley knows good hair. And he ain’t afraid to admit that he knows where to get the best blowout in Nashville. His wife Cassidy just opened a blowout parlor in the Green Hills neighborhood called the Dry House, which offers blowouts at $40.

Dierks Bentley says he’s proud of his wife Cassidy and her business venture, the Dry House.   “She gave up a lot for me and for this. And so now, she’s getting a chance to branch out and do some other things and running. Her and another girl are starting a hair-drying place called Dry House over in Green Hills. So, it’s all about blowouts!”

Blake Shelton will be on Saturday Night Live January 24; he’ll host and perform and the short list of country stars that have done both are Garth, Dolly, Willie and Kris Kristofferson.
Blake was also rumored to perform The National Anthem at the Super Bowl but his people now say that is not true.

He’ll have what she’s having! It’s no secret Blake Shelton loves his adult beverages, especially when wife Miranda Lambert gets behind the bar. The “Lonely Tonight” singer admits he’s a huge fan of her signature cocktail -- the Randarita.

“I tell you what Miranda does with my drinks every now and then I like is she puts in a little Crystal Light in -- that raspberry lemonade Crystal Light -- puts a little bit that in there, just a little bit. Man, it’s good stuff. It’ll ruin your life. Don’t try it.”

Blake heads to Wednesday’s People’s Choice Awards with two nods, for Favorite Male Country Artist and all-genre Favorite Male. The show starts at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.

With his three daughters in college now, Garth admits touring has no guilt and says, “now it's like nothing’s being held back. It’s like you get to eat mashed potatoes with both hands instead of one.” Because of his daughters, Garth says he’s back on the road to pay for tuition!

Sara Evans loves the holidays with family in Missouri, but she secretly dreams of a Christmas at home in Alabama. She jokes that the holidays in Missouri spell misery for her figure because her mom hits the kitchen and prepares decadent holiday eats around the clock.  Sara Evans says food temptations are everywhere with family in Missouri.  “My mother cooks nonstop and we as a family, you know, there’s seven of us kids and so all of our spouses and children, our favorite thing to do in this world is to sit around and talk. And so we’re eating and talking for hours. So a holiday like that where we're up in Missouri can be dangerous.”  Sara’s holiday collection, At Christmas, is available now.

Garth says when he started out in music, he and his band’s first bus smelled so bad of diesel that all their clothes wreaked. If you wanted to go in reverse, you had to put the bus in neutral and get out and push because it didn’t even have reverse. Garth says, “it’s those days that make you love these days.”

Freaking out over hosting family this Christmas? Tyler Farr understands -- holiday stress can put the “fun” in dysfunction at any family gathering. That’s why he recommends traveling in a proper escape vehicle.

Tyler Farr jokes he always takes his own ride in case he needs an emergency getaway.    “Everybody has crazy relatives. So, I do not believe in flying at Christmas. I drive my truck to my aunts or wherever I’m going because when it hits the fan where everybody’s starting to gripe each other out, I’ve got the keys to my truck and I can make my beeline back towards Tennessee. So I’m ready to go. I need that emergency exit.”

Blake Shelton had his 4th win as a coach on The Voice last night when his guy, Craig Wayne Boyd won the season finale. Craig’s single, ‘My Baby’s Got a Smile on Her Face,’ will be released to country radio.

Brett Eldredge is so Christmas, he’s confident no one can out holiday his holiday season. He tweeted over the weekend, “I dare you to be more in the Christmas spirit than me … I probably bleed maple syrup and candy canes by now, I’m that holly ‘n’ jolly!”  Brett plans on spending Christmas with family in Paris, Illinois.  Brett Eldredge says his top Christmas tradition is singing with the church choir.  “Last year I did it, I’m going to do it this year. I go up in the choir loft and I sing ‘Oh Holy Night’ or ‘Mary Did You Know,’ one of those songs every year, looking down at my family and I think, ‘Wow, how fast did this year go?’ And it’s crazy but you know, you’ve got your whole family with you I’ve got my whole family in Paris, Illinois and it’s a great way to end the year.”

We don’t know what Darius Rucker did to make his wife Beth put a lump of coal in his stocking two Christmases ago. Darius recalls, “My kids were like, ‘Daddy you were bad this year? You have coal in your stocking!’ I probably worked too much or something."  Here’s hoping Darius’ stocking is coal-free this year, because Christmas morning is something he looks forward to all year.  Darius Rucker says his kids’ Christmas morning faces are the best.  “Just seeing their faces in the morning … Christmas is such a special time, you know and just the love of everybody coming around and visiting and stopping by and saying hey. It just doesn’t happen every other day. Christmas is a beautiful thing.”  Darius and Hunter Hayes are performers on TNT’s Christmas in Washington special. The show airs at 8 p.m. ET on Friday.

Thomas Rhett’s two favorite Christmas presents in life are super loud. Growing up, the “Make Me Wanna” singer couldn't get enough of his childhood drum set. But he also loves the shotgun he got from his wife Lauren last year.  Thomas Rhett talks about his favorite Christmas presents.  “The best gift I ever received, as a child, was probably my first drum set; and then as an adult, my wife bought me a Benelli twelve gauge shotgun last year, which was pretty awesome. So, it’s better than I ever did for her.”  Thomas performs at the Glynn County Football Stadium tomorrow in Brunswick, Georgia with Dierks Bentley.

If you're on Brantley Gilbert's Christmas list, don't get your hopes up for getting something spectacular. He admits that he stinks at shopping for holiday gifts. Brantley Gilbert is a terrible shopper.  “I am probably the worst Christmas shopper on the planet. I don’t shop very well at all. Like, I look hard my mom and my dad and my little brother, and as many biker brothers as I can, and the guys in my organization. Other than that, man it’s gift cards all the way. You can bet he'll up his game this year for a special someone -- his beautiful fiancee, Amber.

Brad Paisley, if you’ve got scoop on the next Star Wars movie, spill it! We don’t know what was discussed, but Brad had a major run-in last week with J.J. Abrams -- the filmmaker directing the next Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens. Tweeting a selfie with J.J. and his wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Brad posted, “What did the hillbilly say to the Star Wars director? Nice trailer.”  Brad Paisley admits he geeks out every time new details are released on a new Star Was film.“The new Star Wars movie is…I Google it about once a week to see if there’s any news. I just want to know what’s going to happen. And I got friends at Disney, so I’ll be keepin’ track of it as much as they’ll let me in on what’s happening. I love the idea of it. There can never be too many Star Wars movies.”  The Force Awakens isn’t due in theaters until December 18th of next year, but the official trailer is blowing up online. Since its November 28th debut, it’s gotten more than 45 million YouTube views.

Becoming a mom is getting real for new Grammy nominee Carrie Underwood. The “Something in the Water” singer is officially crossing off important items on her shopping list for baby Fisher.  Carrie Underwood reveals she’s in full-on nesting mode.  “Big thing like strollers and things like that, which is really cool and starting to decorate. So, it’s becoming more real. Every day, it kind of seems to become a little more special because it does become a little more real every day.”  Carrie has a new music baby out tomorrow.  Her two-disc Greatest Hits: Decade One includes Carrie’s biggest hits plus new tracks “Little Toy Guns” and the Grammy-nominated hit “Something in the Water.”

Growing up, The Swon Brothers' Zach Swon was super-naughty around Christmas. He couldn’t wait until Christmas Day to open his gifts! When the family wasn't around, Zach would hunt for presents hidden around the house. The Swon Brothers says Zach’s Christmas mischief has become a holiday tradition.  Colton: “He was the worst!”  Zach: “I couldn’t stand it! I cannot tell you a Christmas that I didn’t know everything I was getting before it happened.”  Colton: “And he ruined everything for me! He’d be like, ‘You wanna know what you’re getting?’ I’m like, ‘No! No!’ Because I liked the surprise.”  Zach: “I had to tell him! And I knew all the hiding places. And every time I’d figure one out, they’d try to find a better one. But I found it!”

Beyoncé wasn’t at CMT’s Artists of the Year special Tuesday, but she was rocking out in spirit with Miranda Lambert. Destiny’s Child was very necessary in ‘Ran’s glam session leading up to the red carpet event. A Vine video shows the “Automatic” singer fronting an epic makeup brush sing-along to “Say My Name.” Miranda Lambert says she’s unashamed about copying anything Beyoncé does.  “I’m not even ashamed of it because everyone great took from someone else great. You know? So, I mean, but she gets up there and she slings her head around and just commands the stage. And that’s what I ultimately want to be. And so, I just take a lot from her as far as entertainment.”  Miranda’s husband Blake Shelton couldn’t make the event, but she gave him a super-sweet shout out in her acceptance speech. She said, “I always forget to thank him, but he’s my rock… He’s somewhere on TV right now, I think. But I appreciate it so much.”

Calm down, folks! Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are still madly in love. But Keith does reserve a special place in his heart for a blast from country’s past. No matter where music takes Keith in life, he'll always have a soft spot for those over-the-top line-dance clubs a la Urban Cowboy.  “I think growing up with Urban Cowboy as a movie, Gilley’s and that whole thing has always thing stayed with me as a very cult cool kind of thing. And I’ve always been somewhat interested in those big line dance club that looks like a Sam’s Club that’s been turned into a dance floor because we played a bunch of them in The Ranch.”  Keith was celebrated last night during CMT’s Artists of the Year, along with Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean and Florida Georgia Line. Luke Bryan canceled his appearance to be with family following the passing of his brother-in-law Ben Lee Cheshire.

“Winning” might be Brian Kelley’s favorite word following Florida State University’s 24-to-19 win over the Florida Gators on Saturday. Brian is a huge Seminoles fan, and he’s confident his favorite team will take a second consecutive National Championship.  Florida Georgia Line are already winners today.  The duo is among CMT’s 2014 Artists of the Year with Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert and Keith Urban. The special airs live from Nashville at 8 p.m. ET.

Josh Turner got the chance to lay low with family over the Thanksgiving holiday, spending some quality time with Jennifer and their four boys Hampton, Colby, Marion and new two-month old son Hawke. Now a family of six, are Josh and Jennifer hoping for more kiddos down the road?  Josh Turner says four sons might be enough for right now following the addition of baby Hawke.  “You know, our family feels pretty complete right now. And people keep asking us, ‘Are you going to have more?’ And you know, we don’t even think about that at this point. We just try to enjoy his presence and having him in the house. It’s been fun having him around.”  Josh’s new “Lay Low” music video is out now. His last show of the year is an acoustic gig on December 10th in Houston.

If he wasn't a singer, Jake Owen would be a photographer. He’s planning to make a photo book in the near future to publish his shots and says photography’s a nice way to document his daughter Pearl’s life.

Luke Bryan (Favorite Male Artist - Country), Carrie Underwood (Favorite Female Artist - Country), Florida Georgia Line (Favorite Band, Duo or Group - Country) and Brantley Gilbert (Favorite Album - Country for Just As I Am) were the winners at Sunday night’s American Music Awards.  Also, Diana Ross presented Taylor Swift the inaugural Dick Clark Award for ExcellenceGarth Brooks (“People Loving People”) scored the only country performance on the show.

Shay Mooney, we’re inviting ourselves over for Thanksgiving! Every year, the Mooney family heads to Grandma’s for an action-packed holiday on ATVs.  Shay Mooney chats about his redneck Thanksgiving with family.  “It’s always been a tradition for us to go out on four wheelers, and we go up to my grandparents house and we just drive around and be idiots for awhile, do some donuts and make some really bad decisions. But, it’s really a lot of fun. Everybody gets to come in, and it’s always just a good time to just spend some time with the family. It’s great.”

Dan and Shay’s last show before the holiday is tonight in Chicago as part of Hunter Hayes’s Tattoo tour.

Keith Urban was there for Brantley Gilbert when Brantley needed it most. After battling a serious drinking addiction, Brantley sought professional help in December 2011 to cut booze entirely out of his life, and Keith was among the industry friends who visited him in the hospital.  Brantley says, “I was worried I wouldn’t be able to do my job because I had always had a little bit of a buzz on. Keith told me I was going to be alright.”  Support from fans on social media also goes a long way for Brantley.  Brantley Gilbert says he considers his followers friends.  “When I think about a friend, I think about somebody that supports you. These people are on social media -- 24 hours a day some of them -- and they’re giving us feedback, which is priceless. You can’t put a price tag on that. That’s support.”

Billy Currington works hard and plays hard -- especially when it comes to his favorite hobby -- surfing. And when it comes to catching the best waves, he knows exactly where to go.   "I'm looking forward to going to Indonesia soon. I don't know when, but I've had that on the top of my list. I've been to Hawaii quite a bit and I still go, but all the Hawaiians tell me about the surf over in Indonesia. And I want to go over there with them."  Billy is at work on his sixth studio album, but a quick look at his touring schedule shows that he has plenty of time to take that surf trip this winter.

Dierks Bentley got his pilots license in 1997 and he flies himself to most of his shows in a small plane and says, “you basically get an extra 12 hours with family which is a long time when you've got three kids.” Dierks calls his plane ‘The Time Machine’ because it buys him more family time.

Jimi Westbrook of Little Big Town wants a do-over of the night Reba McEntire invited them to join the Grand Ole Opry. If he could relive the night, he says, he’d bawl his eyes out.  Scanning pictures from the event, Jimi Westbrook says he’s not a fan of his “ugly cry face.”

Jimi: “I had some really ugly like trying to hold cry back faces you know those faces where you’re just kind of [makes a crying noise] trying to hold it back and they are hideous. Just terrible!”

Kimberly: “You should have just cried?”

Jimi: “I should have just let it go.”

Karen: “Yeah there’s pretty cries and there’s ugly cries.”

Jimi: “I’m an ugly crier.”

Little Big Town will be back at the Grand Ole Opry Tuesday. The Pain Killer tour continues Friday in Knoxville, Tennessee with Brett Eldredge and Brothers Osborne.

Blake Shelton’s backstage rider includes Red Bull, peanut butter & jelly and Cheetos but his after show requests are kinda odd; Blake wants hummus, pita chips and a fruit basket.

Also, Carrie Underwood’s tour rider includes peppermint Altoids, an electric tea kettle, freshly laundered bath towels and a well sanitized bathroom!

Country Weekly readers are crazy about Chris Young! The “Lonely Eyes” singer scored his second CW cover within a year as the top pick among Country’s Sexiest Men. The new cover comes just seven months after CW readers voted Chris as Country’s Hottest Bachelor.  Chris Young says he’ll take the honor -- just don’t expect him to campaign for a cover.  “As long as people there are people voting for me and I’m not running a campaign for it, I’m going to take it. I’m never going to be the guy that’s out there, ‘I need to be on this list …’ ‘I need to be on that list …’ But the fact that people are out there going, ‘Hey, we want to see you on the cover of this,’ is pretty awesome.”  Back in 2011, Chris’s band had a blast making fun of his ranking on CW’s bachelor list. Chris says, “They cut my head off a picture and put it on somebody's body and had, ‘Country Weekly’s Hottest Bachelor,’ written under it, and they had the biggest kick out of that.”

Look for Chris's handsome mug on the small screen this week! He makes his Late Night With David Letterman debut this Friday. The A.M. World Tour hits Australia in March. Dates in Europe are scheduled for next September.

Scotty McCreery just celebrated his milestone 21st birthday last month, and he’s loving his newfound freedoms — particularly freedoms found in a casino. But, it’s not the penny slots or poker chips that draw him in. He just enjoys the fact that he is now legally allowed to walk through the building on his way to a show.

Scotty McCreery says he had to take the long way around before his birthday.  “I’ll go out. I’m still not much of a drinker or a partier. But at least now I can go out with the friends instead of having to stay home when they go to the bars. It’s cool. And when I have casino gigs, I don’t have to walk around the whole building. I can just go on through. So, little things like that make life a whole lot easier.”  Scotty didn’t ring in his birthday with a massive party.  Instead, he requested that his family, friends, and fans donate money to one of his favorite charity foundations, 12.14 Foundation.

Toby Keith was offered $325,000 to do one show in Vegas at The Axis in Planet Hollywood. He was reportedly interested but for some reason decided to say no.

We bet Hunter Hayes’ mom Lynette wished she had a “storm warning” over the future of her musical son. Lynette is actually responsible for teaching a young Hunter his first few guitar licks in life.  Hunter recalls, “My mom, one summer, decided, ‘You know what? How about I go and get a guitar and learn to play so that when you do your acoustic gigs, I can accompany you.” Hunter got the basics from his mom, but he just kept progressing past her level.  Eventually, Lynnette dropped the instrument. But the decision was best for everyone -- Hunter is now a multi-platinum-selling artist with new national tour.  “In the busy-ness, there are those stressful moments, there’s those crazy moments where you’re just like, can’t catch a breath or whatever. But honestly, man, it’s beautiful. It really is. Like, it just keeps getting better. It’s more fun than even it was before we first started touring."

The Tattoo (You Name) tour continues tonight in University Park, Pennsylvania with Dan and Shay and The Railers.

Kenny Chesney thinks one guy who will outlast phases or trends in country music is Eric Church. Kenny says, “his connection with the audience just can't be taught.” Kenny’s The Big Revival tour kicks off on his birthday, March 26 in Nashville. No word if Eric will be an opener or not.

Thomas Rhett and his wife have donated $5,000 to Miranda Lambert‘s new Redemption Ranch; a no-kill animal shelter she’s building where she lives in Tishomingo, OK.

Kip Moore took “Hey Pretty Girl” all the way to number-one on the Mediabase chart in July 2013, and the track continues to melts hearts to this day. The song made Binkies and Briefcases blogger Stephanie Giese a new forever fan following an emotional incident with her adopted six-year-old son.   In an open letter to Kip, Stephanie writes about her son’s struggles over wanting to be with his biological family. She writes, “He wants his ‘real’ mommy back, even though he never really knew her.”  But that all changed when “Hey Pretty Girl” came on the minivan radio. Looking in the rearview mirror, Stephanie saw her son in tears over the song. He said, “It makes my heart feel something, but I’m not sad. One day will I be married like the song man? And then I’ll really be in a family? My own family?”

Stephanie now credits Kip for giving her son hope that he will have a biological family of his own one day.  Kip is headlining CMT On Tour with Sam Hunt and Charlie Worsham. They perform tonight at Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth.

Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard has a guardian angel on the road in fiancée Hayley Strommel. The lady has Tyler’s back whatever life throws at them. And she’s the only one who can get Tyler to wear a helmet when they cruise around on their pedal bikes.

There’s no telling how many executive decisions were made throughout Trisha Yearwood’s career. But the best decision she’s ever made has to be letting go of others’ opinions.  Trisha Yearwood says life got right when she decided to think for herself.  “The best decision I ever made was that point where I stopped worrying so much about what everybody else thought about what I should do. Because as a Southern girl, you want everybody to be happy … and that has been true of music, choices, songs, producers, definitely true of marrying the love of my life.”

Trisha’s new album PrizeFighter hits stores on November 17th.

Blake and Miranda just gave Kelly Clarkson‘s 4-month old daughter River Rose the coolest pink acoustic guitar with her name engraved on the neck.

A lot of life has happened for Florida Georgia Line since the 2012 release of their breakout album, Here’s to the Good Times. Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard have both settled down -- Brian and his wife Brittany have a put down roots in a 32-acre spread in West Nashville, and Tyler is newly engaged to Hayley Stommel.  Tyler Hubbard says fans will hear more about major life changes on their new album Anything Goes.  “For both of us -- I mean, we’ve grown a lot in the last two years and we’ve had to adjust to a lot of different changes. We’ve both bought houses and that’s a big step in life. BK got married since the last album. It’s just fun for us to kind of grow up a little bit. It does affect your writing. Wherever you’re at in life is what we’re writing about.”   CMT Instant Jam: Florida Georgia Line airs Friday at 10 p.m. ET.

Blake Shelton says he and Miranda Lambert are happily married and the secret to every happy marriage Blake says “if she's happy then I'm happy. Happy wife, happy life.”

Thomas Rhett contributed a song on the soundtrack for the film, ‘The Best of Me,’ based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks. Thomas has read every Sparks book and seen every movie and he told me real men can still do that.
Speaking of Thomas, he and his wife just returned from a vacation in Italy where he says every single day he ate pizza and gelato.

Blake Shelton has ‘stuck tune syndrome’ a lot and he says and the song that’s currently trapped in his head is an oldie - ‘You're the Reason God Made Oklahoma.’

Carrie Underwood and the Zac Brown Band are on the bill of The Concert for Valor in Washington, D.C; a first-of-its-kind show to honor the courage and sacrifice of America's veterans and their families. It will air live on HBO Nov. 11 and nonsubscribers can watch it too.

Okay, so maybe Dierks Bentley doesn’t have a REAL time machine, but he does refer to his airplane as his very own “time machine.” The family man loves that flying lets him spend more time with his precious kiddos, Evalyn, Jordan and Knox.  Dierks Bentley says he calls his plane the Time Machine.  “I call it the time machine because it literally buys you time with your family. So, kids really is the reason why I started flying is just to get more time with my kids. You get an extra 12 hours which is a long time when you have three kids. I mean, that’s a whole ‘nother night to put them to bed. That’s a whole ‘nother night to make them breakfast.”  Dierks recently threw his annual Miles and Music event in Nashville, raising over $335,479 for The Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. It was the event’s largest contribution to date. His daughters could be seen on the side of the stage, dancing and singing along to dad’s music.

On his Oklahoma farm Blake Shelton always plants 10 acres of watermelons yearly even tho he and Miranda don’t like them. Blake says, “they don’t go to waste tho cause deer eat them.”

Relax, Rascal Flatts fans.  Gary, Jay and Joe Don aren’t giving up on music anytime soon. But they are interested in expanding their brand with a few side businesses.  Jay DeMarcus said they want a future in food.  “We have done everything from talk about havin’ our own barbecue sauce to opening up a restaurant. But we’ve also talked to Donatos Pizza about openin’ up some pizza stores in Nashville. So we’ve got a lotta irons in the fire that we’ve talked about over the years and we’re tryin’ to figure out the best path for us to take.”

The guys continue the Rewind tour with Sheryl Crow and Gloriana. The trek wraps on October 11th in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Dierks Bentley’s just downgraded to the low tech LG flip phone. He still has an iPhone, but he’s limited himself to only checking it five times a day. He got the flip so he can’t text and so it’s not such a distraction. To get it added to his plan was a whopping 99 cents.
