Being Dolly Parton has its perks. But it’s the free things in life that make the country legend feel truly blessed. In a new interview with People, Dolly reveals she’s thankful for the folks in her life, her drive and for being an American.

One thing Dolly is thankful for that does require cash is makeup. She says, “I always put on a little makeup. I never know who’s gonna come to my door. But if I’m in L.A., I put on full makeup in case an earthquake comes and I have to run out into the streets. I want to be able to say, ‘Yeah, my house fell down, but don’t I look good?’”

Carrie Underwood fans went crazy for her new workout over the weekend! Carrie Instagrammed a pic of herself doing pull-ups on the monkey bars at a kid’s playground, while her son Isaiah hung out in a baby jogger. She shared, “Sometimes you have to work your baby into your workout...but that's OK because the world is your playground! #MonkeyBars #WorkoutAnywhere @caliabycarrie #StayThePath”  Carrie Underwood says her new lifestyle line Calia is for multitaskers.   “We call it a lifestyle brand so they can get things done during the day that they need to get done. They can work out in the morning, they can go meet their friend, they can go to the grocery store, they can pick up their kids all in the same outfit.”

Did you know Lady Gaga was one of the first folks to hear the new Band Perry single, “Live Forever?” The two acts were working at the same studio, so TBP took the chance to get instant feedback from the pop superstar. When she heard “Live Forever,” she suggested they raise the volume on Reid’s mandolin.

Reid took it as a huge compliment, but he can’t tell whether Lady Gaga wanted more of the instrument or just more of him.

The Band Perry talk about Lady Gaga.

Kimberly: “She actually was in the studio when we were writing ‘Live Forever’ and so she came in and we were kind of listening to each other’s music that day and, what was her comment about ‘Live Forever’ it was your favorite one?”

Reid: “She wanted the mandolin turned up when she heard the recording.”

Kimberly: “She said, ‘Turn up the mandolin.’”

Reid: “I think it was more because she had a thing for me.”

Neil: “I’m pretty sure it’s just the mandolin.”

Reid: “It was like a signal she was telling me.”

Neil: “No. There were no signals.”

Kimberly: “No I didn’t see any signals. I didn’t catch any signals. Nice try. She’s engaged. Sorry.”

Neil: “She still liked the mandolin.”

Believe it -- after a decade as a pro singer, Carrie Underwood admits she still gets nervous before she goes onstage. In a Facebook chat last week, the “Smoke Break” singer admitted, “I’ve been waiting for the day that my knees don’t shake, but I guess if I’m nervous, it means I care, right?!”  Miranda Lambert definitely cares about Carrie.  Miranda Lambert admits she was a nervous wreck singing “Somethin’ Bad” with Carrie Underwood.  “Singing with someone as powerful as she is, pushed you as a vocalist. You know? She’s a haas.” For the record, Miranda didn’t call Carrie an avocado. UrbanDictionary.com says "haas" is slang for a trustworthy and steadfast person.
