Florida Georgia Line

Newcomers to the country scene dream of having a year like the one Florida Georgia Line had in 2012. Their #1 hit "Cruise" has been everywhere over the past few months, but the duo's Tyler Hubbard tells ABC News Radio they've got a lot to look forward to in the new year, too.

"The weirdest thing is not even knowing what to look forward to," Tyler says. "It's hard to almost predict what's going to happen next year, like this year was."

One thing that Tyler and his duo partner Brian Kelley are definitely excited about is their slot on Luke Bryan's Dirt Road Diaries tour, which starts next month; they hope to be headlining their own shows by the end of 2013.

Another big focus for the duo in 2013 will be writing the follow-up to their just-released album, Here's to the Good Times. The grind of touring and promoting their new album has taken away from their songwriting time in the past few months.

Tyler says, "We're super excited to get on a bus and start writing for the next record and get back in the studio and record some more songs."

Florida Georgia Line is following up "Cruise" with their new single, "Get Your Shine On."
