TIM McGRAW: Says No to Drinking and Yes to Working Out

Tim McGraw is in the best shape of his life -- now that he's quit drinking.

He tells People magazine, "I drank a lot from my point of view, and I needed to stop. I felt quitting was something I needed to do. I didn't feel I had any moral high ground with my kids in the long run."

Tim replaced the bottle with an intense workout regimen and has an impressive eight-pack to prove it. He says, "Working out is a great way to go out on stage. When I hit the stage, my adrenaline is going and I'm ready."

Tim releases his album Two Lanes of Freedom on Tuesday and hits the road for a 30-city tour in the spring.

Dierks Bentley's Beloved Dog Jake Has Been Found

Dierks Bentley’s beloved dog Jake jumped a fence Sunday night in Nashville during the thunderstorms and Dierks tweeted, “praying someone found him. A cold, wet, white dog, red collar." Well, someone found Jake and just dropped him off at their home. I guess she grabbed him right as he was about to be hit by a car. Dierks tweeted, “one of the happiest days of my life. grown men don't cry...yeah right.”

ALABAMA

In order to celebrate their 40th anniversary as a band, Alabama has announced that they will be hitting the high seas on a special fan appreciation cruise.

In a post on their official website, Alabama announced a fan cruise called the Alabama & Friends Festival at Sea, set for next October. The cruise is timed to mark 40 years since Alabama played their first gig, which was at the Bowery in Myrtle Beach.

"Think four or five days, warm weather, beaches, unique shows from us, shows from some of our favorite bands, and a few special surprises along the way," the posting says of the special cruise.

"While we are still figuring out all the details, we hope you will plan to join us next October for the biggest Alabama celebration yet."

Prices for the cruise start at $750 per guest, plus taxes and fees.
