Sugarland’s Kristian Bush is back as a solo act with his infectious new single “Trailer Hitch” and a full-length album in the works. He even gave away $300 in singles while busking the streets of Chicago for the official lyric video. That was actually an effort to drive home the song’s positive message of giving back rather than holding onto everyday material things.  So, what does Kristian have a hard time purging around the house?

“I have a bad habit of not throwing away old t-shirts. And it is a really bad habit I have. My daughter, she’s now 9, and she’s decided that the only thing she’ll sleep in are dad’s old t-shirts. It doesn’t really help it on the grander scheme of the laundry problem, but it does help that it doesn’t end up in my closet.”

The Put Your Soul In It tour continues Sunday in Binghamton, New York. “Trailer Hitch” is available via iTunes now.

Ladies, if you've been hoping to settle down and start a family with “Ready Set Roll” singer Chase Rice, we’ve got some bad news. Just because he’s great with kids doesn’t mean Chase wants to have any of his own for a while.  Chase Rice reveals he’s currently enjoying the perks of a diaper-free life.  “I love other people’s kids right now. If it was mine, I probably wouldn’t be as good. The patience would wear thin. But I get to do the fun stuff with them. I get to hang with them and party -- not party -- but in a kid-way party. But then when it comes to changing diapers, I don’t have to do that. So, yeah, right now, I love kids. When it’s mine, I’ll probably be a little more agitated with them.”  Maybe Dierks Bentley will get Chase to babysit the kiddos for a parenthood test drive? The Riser tour continues Thursday in Mountain View, California. Chase’s debut album, Ignite the Night, lands  on August 19th.

Fellas, we all know that your lady likes to get some flowers once in a while. But no matter what you do, you'll be hard pressed to match the gift Kelly Clarkson got from hubby Brandon Blackstock. Kelly tweeted a picture and wrote, “Brandon surprised me with a 10-acre field of sunflowers on our land. This is my heaven.” “It was hard to even meet someone single and around the same age and like someone I’d be interested in … you know what I’m saying? Your chances are just so much slimmer when you’re in the industry traveling like we do. Like, even Brandon was like, ‘I can’t believe you were single for six years.’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, like, well, I was…’ (laughs) And it was very easy to be single because I just work all the time.” The couple celebrates their first anniversary on October 20th.

Brad Paisley has a lot in common with his pickup truck character in the new animated film Planes: Fire and Rescue. Both have a general dislike of most hybrid cars.

Don’t get him wrong -- Brad advocates eco-friendly vehicles. He just can’t get past the look of a Prius. He says, “As far as eco vehicles go, they got to make them look better. Like the Prius -- no, I don’t like the Prius. It looks like a bean. You might as well drive an Oscar Meyer wiener.”

In Nashville, Brad and his family tool around town in a hybrid SUV. He says, “It’s important, we have to stop using so much oil for so many reasons.”

Miranda Lambert’s tour bus was just remodeled with hardwood floors, farm-wood walls and a retro light pink fridge. She also has three bunks so friends and family can join her on the road.

Florida Georgia Line's Brian Kelley can often go incognito like the gas station outside Nashville the other day. He bought a camouflage cigarette lighter with the FGL logo, had on an FGL cap and even told the clerk, “I love this band,” but the guy still had no idea who he was.

Garth’s Chicago concert will be Sept. 4 at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL with Trisha Yearwood. Tickets go on sale July 25 with a 6-ticket limit. The $65.50 price includes tax and service charges.

Justin Moore and wife, Kate welcomed their third daughter, Rebecca Klein, on Monday. Moore is enjoying some family time at home before he hits the road with Miranda Lambert’s Platinum Tour later this summer.

Taylor Swift was seen out Monday night with Steven Spielberg and family at East Hampton Grill. She and Steven were in deep conversation the entire time. They first met at a Beverly Hills charity gala when his wife Kate Capshaw invited Taylor and her friends to join them.

Carrie Underwood might have to steal hubby Mike Fisher away from his new bromance buddy Blake Shelton for the happy couple's fourth wedding anniversary! With Carrie and Mike enjoying a hockey-free summer tour, chances are the two are together and probably at Subway. In a 2013 People article, Carrie said the fast food joint was their go-to place when they first started dating.

Always picture perfect on the red carpet, Carrie jokes there are some Mike looks she'd like to retire, including his traditional NHL playoff beard.

"People ask me about married life, I'm like, 'Oh my gosh! He's so wonderful and he throws me surprise parties and he loves me.' Nobody writes that stuff. They write about the playoff beard and how I hate playoffs because of the playoff beard. Everything gets blown out of proportion so I make one joke and the 99 awesome things I said go out the window."

Carrie and Mike just returned from a mission trip in Haiti, but they probably won't be doing anything strenuous for their anniversary -- Mike just ruptured his Achilles tendon in an off-season workout. Carrie will be part of the Global Citizen Festival on September 27th.

After 15 years together, Little Big Town’s Jimi Westbrook notes the band are “friends first” and says, “we take care of each other, especially living in such close quarters. We are respectful and we communicate." The band also now has two buses these days.

Blake Shelton is teaming up with JCPenney on his Ten Times Crazier tour. The clothing retailer will sponsor the run and help Blake raise awareness and support for U.S. military families through USO donations.

"JCPenney and I are very dedicated to supporting our military men and women out there," Shelton says. "We'll be doing that again this year on our tour, supporting the men and women and their families back home."

The tour features Shelton headlining with support from Band Perry, Neal McCoy and Dan + Shay. The trek picks up July 19 in Chicago, Illinois.

Jewel and her husband Ty Murray have split. She made the announcement on her blog. They have been together for 16 years and married for the past six.

The singer-actress writes, "For some time we have been engaged in a private and difficult, but thoughtful and tender, undoing of ourselves. Allowing ourselves the time and space to redefine what we are to each other with love rather than malice."

She says that they plan on remaining friends and are committed to parenting their three-year old son Kase together.

Strong pipes no doubt run in Kelly Clarkson’s family. But the new mom’s not expecting her infant daughter River Rose to break out into song anytime soon. A sense of humor will do for now. Kelly tweets, “It is weird that I wait every day to hear my little baby laugh? I just really want to hear her giggle and all I get are quirky smiles. :)"  Being a celebrity mom to older kids Seth and Savannah, who are Brandon’s children from a previous marriage, also has its challenges, like dealing with tabloid press. Kelly says they’re starting to get past the age when kids believe everything they read.

Kelly Clarkson says it’s difficult explaining tabloid rumors to Seth and Savannah with husband Brandon Blackstock.  “It’s a little tougher to navigate when you have kids because you know, because they believe everything they see. Not the 12-year-old as much now. She’s starting to learn that. Luckily their grandparents … I mean, her grandma’s famous. So, she’s used to it a little bit. It’s good though. I think it’s a cool learning curve for her because she’s actually a talented musician and she wants to get into the industry. So, it’s a great thing for her to learn.”

Kelly is enjoying her summer off on maternity leave. River Rose made her Twitter debut on June 20th.
